Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) 2026
The 2026 Catholic Services Appeal is underway! Through this effort, we join parishes across our diocese to support vital ministries and programs that serve our parishes, schools, and those most in need.
Our parish goal this year is $162,380 — up from last year’s goal of $149,292, and representing 19.92% of our ordinary income (weekly collections). Every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact in supporting the work of the Church. Any funds raised above our parish goal will be returned to St. Francis Xavier Parish to support our ongoing capital needs.
As we reflect on the many blessings God has given us, let us prayerfully consider how we can respond with gratitude and generosity. Thank you for your continued prayerful support of the CSA.

A campaign for the revitalization of our Parish & School
Together We Rise supports the long-term preservation and continued improvement of our beautiful historic church and our entire parish and school campus.
Phase I Capital Campaign — $750,000 ✔ Complete
With deep gratitude, we’re pleased to share that our Phase I Capital Campaign reached its $750,000 goal in April 2026! This remarkable achievement reflects your generosity, faith, and commitment to the mission and ministries of our parish.
These funds fully covered the first phases of the Stained Glass Windows Restoration Project ($453,574) and are providing seed money for the upcoming Jubilee Campaign. Your continued generosity keeps our parish a vibrant place of worship, service, and outreach — faithfully responding to the needs of our community and beyond.
Jubilee Capital Campaign — Stay Tuned!
Our Building and Grounds Committee has been diligently assessing our facilities and identifying priority areas for improvement. Their findings and recommendations are now under review by the Pastoral Council and Finance Council, ensuring every decision reflects our pastoral priorities and responsible financial stewardship.
Upcoming phases will focus on prioritized improvements as we prepare for St. Francis Xavier’s Jubilee milestones:
- 2029 — Parish 150th Anniversary
- 2033 — Church Dedication 125th Anniversary & School 150th Anniversary

Supporting SFX School
We are so grateful for those considering a gift to St. Francis Xavier School. More than 20% of our operating budget—including teacher salaries—is funded through fundraising efforts. Your generosity helps provide a strong Catholic education to families across Northern Michigan.
